Custom In-ear monitors?

Some of my friends took the plunge and purchased custom molded in-ears.
Should I do it?

The ones I use at church fall out and drive me crazytown!
Plus, it's nasty to share ear foam and ear plastic.
But, it seems a bit pretentious to have my own customs and it is a lot of coin!
I would love to hear your thoughts...

  1. I won't vote, cuz I don't have 'em myself. But if you DO buy them, please let me know how you like them! I'm in the market for such things. :)

  2. I got a pair after I had to have tubes put in, at the urging of my ENT. I am really happy with my live wires. http://www.fidelitycustomearphones.com/

    Hope this helps

  3. I was going to recommend the same website. I just ordered some for my son and will order my own soon. They are about half the cost of Westones.

  4. Thanks for the tips guys.. I'll def. be checking out that site.
It's strange because since they're custom you can't try before you buy.. and I don't like to buy before I try....
